Creamy Bistek Tagalog Pasta
It’s no mistake! Ang classic bistek, kayang gawing pasta! Enjoy a fresh, creamy take on this Filipino dish na talagang sarap saya!
Ingredients
400g El Real Flat Spaghetti
500 grams beef, tapa cut
8 tbsp calamansi juice
½ cup soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 pcs white onion, large, cut into rings
4 tbsp canola oil
250 ml All Purpose Cream
1 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp spring onions, chopped
Directions
Step 1: Mix soy sauce, calamansi juice and garlic in a bowl. Lagyan ang meat ng black pepper at ilagay sa soy sauce mixture. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2: Cook El Real Flat Spaghetti ayon sa package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 3: In a saucepan, painitin ang oil at i-stir fry ang onion rings until translucent with a little bit of brown on the edges but still with a bit of a crunch. Remove from pan and set aside.
Step 4: Sa same pan, pan fry the meat in batches, remove after browning on both sides. ‘Pag tapos na lahat ng meat, ibuhos ang marinade sa pan at i-boil and let simmer for 5 minutes or until cooked.
Step 5: Ilagay ang all purpose cream and simmer for another 5 minutes. I-adjust ang sauce kung kailangan with more soy sauce, calamansi juice or pasta water and let simmer for about 2 more minutes.
Step 6: Ilagay na ang cooked El Real Flat Spaghetti at haluing mabuti, then top with onion rings, chopped spring onions at parmesan cheese.
Step 7: Serve and enjoy!
